Regions Bank
Fidelity Federal Bank of Dalton selected TWH to design their entry into the Chattanooga market in the busy Gunbarrel Road commercial corridor. The design was to incorporate full service banking facilities with an emphasis on drive-in banking. The contemporary design incorporates sun shading devices which provide a bright and friendly bank setting. The interior utilizes tall glass partitions to further expand the space. Several years later, and now as Regions Bank branch, the design still has a bright, fresh appeal in the midst of the clutter of Gunbarrel.
The high number of drive-through lanes presented quite a challenge from an aesthetic and planning point of view. The rather unusual approach of using a modern design for a relatively conservative bank client seemed to lend itself well to resolution of the challenge. Fine custom casework, also in a contemporary aesthetic, serves to tie the interior and exterior components of the building together. Diebold North America provided the bank equipment and went to great lengths to integrate the standard equipment with the custom interior.
